St Tewdrics House Wedding Photographer
The day began with torrential downpours at Chloe’s parents house for the bridal prep, while Lloyd and the boys had stayed over in St Pierre just down the road from St Tewdrics. The Face Boss MUA was setup at the end of the room with their ring lights getting the girls looking amazing, and Kirsty (kistyling) was in the conservatory styling their hair.
We captured the prep at both locations, as we are two photographers which is very handy for these situations. Brides tell me it’s always nice to see what the boys got up to in the morning!
The arrival at St Tewdrics House in Chepstow was still a wet one, but it was due to clear up after the ceremony, so we were crossing fingers for a dry spell to get everyone outside for some photos. St Tewdrics is a light and airy venue, that is also quite intimate, as the house isn’t too big, it’s perfect for family and friends to mingle indoors and out. I love it there!
It couldn’t have been timed any better, but the rain stopped just after the ceremony, so we had everyone around the front for some confetti, then onto the patio for a large group shot of the whole wedding party. After Chloe and Lloyd had a bit of a mingle and a chat with guests, we had a stroll around the venue for some couple time photos. I think the photo’s are absolutely amazing of them both and Chloe has such stunning eyes, and looked so beautiful. The summer flower meadow was still in force, so we were able to have a quick wander through the flowers too, before hot footing it back into the courtyard room for the couple to see the beautiful table details.
The staff at St Tewdrics are brilliant at keeping the day moving and on track, while remaining chilled and allowed everyone to just enjoy themselves. I can’t say enough good things about this venue!
After some emotional and hilarious speeches everyone was able to have a good catch up, and get the drinks flowing as we went into the first dance and evening partying on the dance floor. I always stay to make sure I’ve captured the atmosphere, once people have relaxed and having a really good time!
