I first met Lauren when she was a bridesmaid at another wedding I photographed, so stepping into their plans felt natural from the start. It was my first time at Parley Manor and it suited them perfectly.

The morning had the best kind of build up. Music on, plenty of laughter, a lovely reveal with the girls, then a quiet moment with Dad that hit everyone. There was also a simple gift between Lauren and her mum that meant a lot. Nothing staged, just honest moments.

The ceremony was outside in the gardens and it felt calm and open, with everyone close enough to share it. Nate’s family had flown in from America and there were a few subtle touches that nodded to that, sitting neatly alongside Lauren’s style. Her details were stunning too! with hand painted shoes.

After the vows the day unfolded on the lawns. Outdoor games kept guests chatting, the outdoor bar did a roaring trade, and the sun did that soft afternoon thing that makes everything feel easy. Later on we took a gentle walk around the grounds for some relaxed portraits. I picked out a few spots with kind light, then let Lauren and Nate be themselves while I worked around them.

The marquee looked brilliant for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The flowers were amazing in the breakfast marquee and lifted the whole space, even up top. Massive wow factor!

As the light dropped we slipped out for a few minutes. A short wander, soft evening glow, a chance for the two of them to breathe and take it in while I captured it quietly. Then straight back to a packed dancefloor.

When evening arrived, the band fired up and the party hit another level. Nate’s side brought all the energy you’d expect after crossing the Atlantic, and Lauren and the girls matched it beat for beat. The dancefloor never really emptied. We also had a father and daughter dance and a mother and son dance, which were just beautiful.

Parley Manor is a great fit for a day like this. The gardens, the outdoor ceremony space, the easy flow into the marquee and then into a full-on party, with the outdoor bar, make it effortless for everyone.
