As a Glewstone Court wedding photographer, I’m always excited when I get the chance to capture weddings at this beautiful venue in Ross on Wye. Nicole and Tomos’ special day was no exception—it was an absolute dream from start to finish, with the perfect blend of elegance, fun, and heartfelt moments.

The Venue: Glewstone Court

Glewstone Court is such a charming venue, perfectly suited for intimate weddings. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the setting feels just right for capturing those timeless, romantic photos. One of my favorite spots is the stunning apple orchard, which made for some breathtaking shots of Nicole and Tomos as the sun set.

A Chilled Morning with the Girls

Nicole’s morning with her bridal party was so relaxed. The bridal prep room at Glewstone Court is huge and filled with natural light, which made it a dream to photograph in. As the girls got ready, the atmosphere was full of excitement, but also a wonderful sense of calm before the big moment. Nicole’s dress, from Eve Ashley Bridal, was an absolute showstopper, and she looked incredible as she prepared to marry Tomos.

The Ceremony & Stunning Styling

The ceremony was full of love, and the venue was beautifully styled by Etiquette Events Styling. They used dried flowers and intricate table decor that gave the day such a unique and personal feel. Everything felt effortlessly elegant, and it provided the perfect backdrop for all the candid moments I love to capture as a wedding photographer.

A Surprise to Remember: Singing Waiters and Magic!

One of the best moments of the day was the surprise Nicole’s mother had arranged: incredible singing waiters! Led by Boris, who was hilariously insane, they took everyone by surprise, lifting the energy of the room with their performance. The looks on guests’ faces were priceless, and it made for some amazing photos.

Not only that, but Adam Reeves, the magician, was also in attendance, pulling out tricks that had everyone laughing and absolutely baffled. There was never a dull moment, and capturing the joy and laughter throughout the day was an absolute pleasure.

Drone Magic: Capturing the Day from Above

To top it all off, we used a drone to capture some stunning aerial imagery of the venue and the surrounding countryside. Glewstone Court looks even more enchanting from above, and it was a fantastic way to showcase the beauty of the location and the scale of Nicole and Tomos’ day.

Quirky Photobooth & Evening Light

Another highlight was the super unique photobooth provided by Silver Light Trailers. It was a quirky little caravan, unlike anything I’ve seen before, and guests had such a blast posing for fun, memorable shots inside. It added a special, playful touch to the evening that really made Nicole and Tomos’ wedding stand out.

As the evening approached, we were blessed with the most beautiful golden light. We took full advantage, sneaking off for some intimate portraits in the apple orchard. The soft glow was magical, casting the perfect light on Nicole and Tomos as they enjoyed a quiet moment together amidst the celebration.
