Cripps Barn Wedding Photographer
Kirstie and Oliver’s wedding was at the stunning 18th Century Cripps Barn, Gloucestershire in the Cotswolds. The day started just a short drive away at the New Inn Gloucestershire for the wedding prep. Both Bride and Groom stayed covered and spent the morning at the New Inn, which in itself was so beautiful for photos. The rooms had some gorgeous natural light which we made the most of. After doing a reveal of the wedding dress to Kirstie’s father and some photos of the girls as they left, we shot over to Cripps Barn.
The weather was uncertain and there was drizzle in the air, but the venue were great and handed out umbrellas for the guests and before you know it, during the ceremony the sun came out! Their dog was part of the day, and was very well behaved! So we made sure we captured plenty of moments with her.
After the ceremony and floods of confetti on the decking, we shot some group shots with the family and then headed off for a walk around the grounds with the couple. Kirstie and Oliver, were so amazing and had a good laugh with each other and embraced in the feeling of love so we captured some beautiful natural images of them. One thing I love about a summer wedding is we can also go out again after some food as the sun is setting for a few more photos. Cripps Barn has an amazing field at the side which was growing corn, which is a wedding photographers dream! The guys were up for having a walk through the field and feeling the emotion of the day together. We always give a little direction here and there, but Kirstie and Oliver just went with it, making it much more natural, just the way we like it.
We headed back to the barn then to cut the cake, light the outdoor fires and do some dancing! What an absolutely amazing day for this Cripps Barn wedding photographer!
