Cefn Tilla Court, located in Usk, Wales, is a breathtaking venue for a wedding. The autumn season brings an explosion of color, with the trees showcasing their most vibrant hues. As a recommended Cefn Tilla Court wedding photographer, it is one of my favourite venues. It’s such a diverse wedding venue, with loads of potential locations for us to take a walk and create some real, emotive photographs.
Hannah & Dave planned a stunning day and really made it their own. The colour scheme looked incredible for autumn, and certainly gave that wow factor. The details were so beautiful, including Hannah’s engagement ring, which perfectly matched the colour scheme. The ceremony itself was really quite special, and delivered by Jane Grayer at Create Ceremonies. It was a gin & wine ceremony where the guests were treated to sample some spirits chosen by the couple. It was so much fun and a little crazy!
After a break in the rain we dashed outside for some family photos and also a wander around the stunning Cefn Tilla gardens for some natural, intimate photos of the couple.
I always like to get the couple back quickly to enjoy with friends and family, while I watch the light for any moments in the day we can create some more magical images with that gorgeous backlit sun. Cefn Tilla has a stunning golden tree out the front, and I knew I wanted to really integrate that into the photos. So when the sun backlit the leaves I grabbed the couple quickly for some extra photos, and I’m so glad I did!
After some emotional speeches and delicious food, I always make sure we focus on plenty of candid photos during the whole day. Hannah & Dave then had practiced their first dance to wow their guests, and they really pulled it off! I always stay to make sure I capture the craziness on the dance floor, which was delivered with the amazing mixing skills by Boutique Disco, who are insane!
This was a day to remember, absolutely loved to be part of it!
